Christian Wolff is now the sole living composer from the New York School of composition from the middle of the 20th century, a group that included John Cage, Morton Feldman, and Earle Brown. The pitched instruments in Wolff’s 4-minute Two Percussionists are vibraphone and/or other instruments as well as non-pitched percussion of metal, skin, and other materials including wood. Two performance scores are needed.
