Preludio al atardecer (1926) is Joaquín Rodrigo's first work for guitar. It was premiered at the National Library of Spain on June 26th, 2019 by Maestro Juan Manuel Cañizares on the Occasion of the Exhibition El paisaje acústico de Joaquín Rodrigo (The Acoustic Landscape of Joaquín Rodrigo).
The renowned guitarist also released the first recording of the work shortly afterwards.
