'Is It for Now or for Always and Night Music were composed in Reykjavík during the summer of 2010. Talking in Bed was composed in London in the summer of 2008, but was revised and arranged for soprano and piano quintet in the summer of 2010 in Reykjavík. The double bass part was added in September 2010 on request of the Sonor Ensemble in Madrid.
The Larkin Songs were premiered at the summer music festival Kammertónleikar Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Iceland, by Guðrun Jóhanna Ólafsdóttir (soprano), Elfa Rún Kristinsdóttir (violin), Helga Þóra Björgvinsdóttir (violin), Þórunn Ósk Marinósdóttir (viola), Margrét Árnadóttir (violoncello) and Daníel Bjarnason (piano).'
